UTRGV professor advances to Jeopardy Champions Wildcard Torunament Finals

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — University of Texas Rio Grande Valley history lecturer William Yancey is advancing to the Jeopardy Champions Wildcard Tournament finals.

Yancey competed and won Jeopardy Second Chance and came out victorious in the semifinals of the Champions Wildcard Tournament.

He finished with $52,000, the highest total of the entire season host Ken Jenning said.

Yancey will now compete in the finals on Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. on NBC 23.
