TxDOT: Public scoping meeting canceled due to inclement weather

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation announced the in-person I-69 Connector Public Scoping Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21, is canceled due to the potential for inclement weather.

In addition, TxDOT The Virtual Public Scoping Meeting set for Monday, Jan. 20 at noon is still a go. To join the Virtual Public Scoping Meeting, visit TxDOT.gov.

The information that would have been presented at the in-person meeting on Jan. 21 is the same information presented at the Virtual Public Scoping Meeting.

In addition, the in-person Public Scoping Meeting scheduled for this Thursday, January 23, is still scheduled to take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Santa Rosa High School Cafeteria/Fine Arts 102 Jesus R. Cruz Ave.

The public comment period for the I-69 Connector Project is extended until Feb. 12 to allow for Tuesday's meeting cancellation.
