Non-emergency number down in Cameron County

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Authorities are reporting a major phone outage in Brownsville Tuesday night.

Brownsville police's regular non-emergency phone line is down, according to Cameron County Sheriff Manuel Trevino.

Residents are urged to contact the Sheriff's Office at (956) 538-3352.
