During this time, eastbound I-2 will also close between Sugar Road and Raul Longoria. All traffic will be diverted to the frontage road.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the funeral procession will exit the Basilica at Raul Longoria, head north to State Highway 495 and access northbound I-69C to Schunior Road in Edinburg. Intersections along that route will close as will the two northbound I-69C connectors at the Pharr Interchange.
