Two arrested in Alamo PD drug, prostitution bust

ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Alamo police arrested a man and a woman, who they say, had narcotics in a residence and were involved in a prostitution ring.

Eduardo Farias Jr. and Christine Andrea Cisneros were arrested on Saturday, according to a release from the Alamo Police Department.

Authorities arrived at a residence at the 900 block of Jon Drive, where they executed a search warrant for narcotics and prostitution activities.

In the home, police found "a substantial quantity" of narcotics, the release stated. Additionally, multiple people were arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.

During the seizure one person, identified as Farias, was arrested for an outstanding warrant related to the promotion of prostitution.

Farias was charged with the following charges:

  • Promotion of prostitution
  • Sexual assault
  • Possession of controlled substances:
    • Two counts of POCSPG1>=<200G
    • Possession of marijuana: <=50 lbs >5 lbs
    • POCSPG3<28G
    • Possession of dangerous drugs

A second person, later identified as Cisneros, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Indecent assault
  • Possession of controlled substances:
    • Two counts of POCSPG1>=<200G
    • Possession of marijuana: <=50 lbs >5 lbs
    • POCSPG3<28G
    • Possession of dangerous drugs

Farias was arraigned Sunday. Cisneros is pending arraignment.
