Trade activity at Pharr Bridge has increased 54.9 percent over last ten years

PHARR, Texas – The Pharr Bridge Board has produced a video showing trade activity at the Pharr International Bridge.

As of November 2024, total trade activity for 2024 stood at $3.77 billion. Of this, $1.13 billion worth of trade was exported, and $2.65 billion was imported.

The top three exports by value were gasoline and other fuels, natural gas and liquefied natural gas, and pork.

The top three imports were TVs and computer monitors, avocados, dates, figs, pineapples, etc., and insulated wire and cable.

Pharr International Bridge is ranked No. 30 in the nation for trade.

Year-to-date, trade is up 0.9 percent on last year. Over the last five years it has grown by 27.2 percent. Over the last ten years it has increase 54.9 percent.
