Three decomposed bodies found inside Brownsville apartment

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Three bodies in a "high state of decomposition" were found inside a Brownsville apartment Wednesday morning, police announced.

Officers with Brownsville PD responded to the Conquistador Apartments at approximately 9:12 a.m. to find a strong foul odor was detected from inside one the units.

Police entered the apartment and located three people who are all believed to be older.

The cause of death for each individual has yet to be determined with no signs of foul play.

An autopsy will be conducted as Brownsville police continue to investigate.
