The case against LNG export terminals at the Port of Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Rio Grande Guardian has posted a number of stories featuring support for liquefied natural gas export terminals at the Port of Brownsville.

Below we offer an audio recording featuring local residents opposed to the two projects. The residents oppose the projects on environmental grounds and do not believe tax abatements should be given to the two LNG companies. 

Their comments were made at a recent Cameron County Commissioners Court public hearing.
