Texas A&M Higher Education hosts women's health fair

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas A&M University Higher Education Center in McAllen hosted a women's health fair in Rio Grande Valley colonias.

Texas A&M students collaborated with the Texas A&M University Colonias Program and the House of Love and Justice to bring the event together.

The House of Love and Justice is an organization dedicated to empowering families and transforming colonias alongside the U.S.-Mexico border.

Students and organizers alongside other stakeholders offered health screenings, free vaccinations and other health fair resources.
