STARR COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Starr County deputies are searching for a missing teen.
According to a social media post from the Starr County Sheriff's Office, the teen was reported missing on Thursday afternoon in the community of El Refugio by the river bank.
Deputies described the teen as 5'4" to 5'6" tall, weighing 120 lbs and medium skin tone. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts with no shoes.
The Texas Game Wardens, U.S. Border Patrol and the Texas National Guard are assisting the sheriff's office in the search.
