South Texas Literacy Coalition presents Loteria for Literacy

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The South Texas Literacy Coalition presents its Loteria for Literacy, an event for a fun and educational gathering to promote literacy in the Rio Grande Valley.

The STC invites the community for an entertaining event featuring:

• Classic Lotería games
• Tasty snacks for purchase
• Fantastic prizes and exciting raffles
• A costume contest is open to all ages. Dress up as your favorite Lotería character and join in on the fun.

Proceeds will support the South Texas Literacy Coalition in its mission to enhance literacy through outreach programs and community partnerships throughout our region.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at 123 Mark S. Peña Dr. in Edinburg. Tickets are $25.
