Small sinkhole appears in Edinburg along Closner Blvd.

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A small sinkhole has developed in Edinburg along a busy street.

In a Facebook post, the city says the sinkhole is along South Closner Boulevard near the entrance to The Shoppes on Closner.

The Texas Department of Transportation is closing the shoulder of the northbound lane. Repairs are scheduled to be made on Thursday.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area around the 4000 block of South Closner Boulevard.
