Sheriff: Harlingen Dollar General robbed at gunpoint, 3 wanted

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Cameron County Sheriff Manuel Treviño is searching for three suspects who robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint in Harlingen.

Deputies responded to Dollar General on the 14000 block of U.S. Business 83 Saturday night in reference to the robbery.

Trevino says three masked people stole beer and cigarettes.

"This kind of crime gets your attention because no money was taken. It was just beer and cigarettes," Sheriff Treviño announced in a news conference.

Cameron County investigators are working with Dollar General to gather footage of the robbery.
