Sea Turtle Inc. plans to release 4 sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico

Sea Turtle Inc. is preparing to release four Atlantic Green sea turtles into the Gulf of Mexico.

The turtles Finch, Jetty, Roscoe, and Snaggy are being prepared for their release back to the ocean at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Cameron County Beach Access 4.

The four turtles have received care for 160 days from Sea Turtle Inc. The non-profit stated the turtle's return to the wild serves as a testament to the organization's mission.

The event is free and open to the public.
