SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Sea Turtle Inc. announced more than 8,000 hatchling eggs are safe after preparing to protect them from Hurricane Beryl.

On Friday, staff, volunteers and city officials fortified the corrals from high tides, potential flooding and other dangers that could affect the eggs.
