EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Santa Claus made a quick stop on Christmas Day to visit patients at South Texas Health System Children's Hospital.
STHS welcomed Santa as he walked from door to door to surprise children in their rooms with toys and stuffed animals.
Santa delivered gifts to over 50 patients as a way to spread holiday cheer.
The surprise visit was made possible by Auxillary to South Texas Health System, a non-profit organization of volunteers.
Auxillary to STHS aims to help provide emotional and social care to patients.
