The Commission is considering multiple rezoning requests to transition properties from Light Industrial and Single Family designations to Commercial General Retail (C-2), alongside a voluntary de-annexation request.

• Public Hearing and First Reading of Ordinance 2252-AT-020326: Voluntary De-annexation of property at 29426 Resaca Drive.
• Public Hearing and First Reading of Ordinance 2252-AU-020326: Rezoning 6.591 acres at Cesar Gonzalez Parkway and FM 510 from Light Industry (LI) to Commercial General Retail (C-2).
• Public Hearing and First Reading of Ordinance 2252-AV-020326: Rezoning 5.007 acres at 251 Cesar Gonzalez Parkway from Light Industry (LI) to Commercial General Retail (C-2).
• Public Hearing and First Reading of Ordinance 2252-AW-020326: Rezoning 734 Whitney Street from Single Family One (SF-1) to Commercial General Retail (C-2).
• Ratification of $15,229.32 payment to AEP for new streetlight installations and upgrades on Shafer, Zillock, Yost, and Robertson Roads.
• Purchase of a Brother MFC-EX915DW copier for the Police Department Communications Center ($1,459.15).
• Approval of an Artwork Loan Agreement with artist Ray Smith for the exhibition "The Architecture of Vulnerability" at the Cultura Heritage Museum.
• Approval of an Amended Subrecipient Agreement with the Community Development Corporation of Brownsville for CDBG-CV fund administration.
• Purchase of one Dodge Durango Police Pursuit vehicle from CZAR Companies, LLC ($46,045.00).
• Purchase of ten Dell laptops and ten Dell tablets for the library utilizing Hancher Library Foundation Grant funds ($12,078.30).
