Salvation Army handing out fans until 11 a.m.

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — We are partnering with the Salvation Army, McAllen ISD and HEB to celebrate Christmas in July.

We have received a donation of over 300 fans from HEB to give away to any resident of Hidalgo County in need of some fresh cooling.

From 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, the Salvation Army will be at the McHi parking lot getting ready to give out fans.

Our very own CBS Chief Meteorologist Bryan Hale will be at the location to say hi and help distribute fans.
