RioPlex in Houston – An interview with Francisco J. Peña-Valdes 

HOUSTON, Texas – RioPlex hosted its “Texas Port to the Stars Foreign Direct Investment Summit” at the Westin Galleria in Houston on April 10th, 2025. 

It was the first time the region – the Rio Grande Valley and northern Tamaulipas – had promoted itself at a summit held outside its boundaries. 

One of the attendees was Francisco J. Peña-Valdes, president of the McAllen chapter of Asociación de Empresarios Mexicanos US (AEM) and a partner at Cacheaux Cavazos & Newton. 

During the summit, the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service secured an interview with Peña-Valdes. During the interview, spoke about an upcoming trade conference in San Antonio that he is setting up for AEM.
