Police: Active barricade situation in Harlingen neighborhood

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Local and federal authorities are working to de-escalate an active barricade situation in Harlingen Thursday morning.

A spokesperson with the Harlingen Police Department says that a man barricaded himself after the US Marshals attempted to serve a warrant at a home on the 1900 block of E. Washington Ave.
