RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Slithering slowly across the bone-dry South Texas sendero glides an exceptionally large western diamondback rattlesnake.  Flicking forked tongue, tasting air for scent, the imposing rattler silently slides with powerful, mesmerizing movement.
