MCALLEN, Texas – The CEO Group held a meeting with mayors and city managers at the McAllen Country Club on Dec. 3.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform cities across the Rio Grande Valley about the importance of the RioPlex project.
RioPlex is a branding exercise designed to help market South Texas and North Tamaulipas across the world.
One of the CEO Group leaders at the meeting was Mario Reyna, a former dean of business for South Texas College who now assists Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez with the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force.
In an interview after the meeting ended, Reyna said the CEO Group is pleased with the buy-in coming from cities across the Valley.
