Pitmaster Arnie Tex to be featured on NBC23

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Arnie Tex, a BBQ enthusiast who has over 1M subscribers on YouTube spoke with us about how he got his start.

Arnie Tex, or Arnie Segova, is a Valley native who said his love for BBQ all started from a fascination with fire.

Segova said when he was a child he burned his house down while playing with matches.

Now the pitmaster has a cookbook coming out in the summer. '

Segova let our Lifestyle Reporter Ashely Galvan cook one of his favorite recipes from the book on air.
