Phone delays, disruptions due to Spectrum outage

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A statewide Spectrum outage has left businesses without internet, homes without cable and emergency lines without service.

The following is a list of cities, businesses and buildings that have confirmed interruptions due to the ongoing outage.

South Texas College

STC is currently experiencing internet outages that is affecting all campuses Valleywide.

Starr County

Starr County is currently experiencing phone line outages that may affect emergency calls to 911, according to the sheriff's office.

Residents are asked to contact l (956) 487-0311 or (956) 257-0960 in any case of an emergency.

City of La Joya

The City of La Joya is currently experiencing phone line outages, according to a social media post.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience as Spectrum works to resolve the issue," the post stated.
