Pharr lane closures for I-2/ I-69C Interchange Project

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Nightly full closures for overhead bridge work will continue to take place in Pharr this week.

Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists through alternate routes.

I-2 Westbound Main Lanes

The I-2 westbound main lanes between the Cage Boulevard exit and Jackson Road, in Pharr, will be closed overnight on Tuesday from 8p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. The I-2 westbound entrance ramp just west of Sugar Road will not accessible during this closure.

Underpass Closures

The following underpasses will be closed nightly Tuesday through Saturday from 8p.m. to
6 a.m.

• Jackson Road Underpass
• U.S. Business 83 Underpass

Additional Lane Closures

• Right lane closure on the I-69C northbound frontage road between I-2 and Sioux Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday.
• Right lane closure on the I-2 westbound main lanes between Nebraska Avenue and Veterans Boulevard from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Tuesday through Friday.

Traffic will be intermittently slowed throughout the project corridor nightly this week from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for maintenance operations.
