PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Three Pharr firefighters and three EMS workers who volunteered to help assist with the Texas Panhandle wildfires, have returned home.
The group of six arrived home safely on Thursday, according to a spokesperson with the City of Pharr.
The team left the Valley on Feb. 28, according to a previous ValleyCentral report.
State officials had requested assistance to help control what is known as the largest wildfire in Texas history.
