Good morning and welcome. I am truly excited to welcome you all to the grand opening celebration for the Pharr Global Business Hub.

Today is a special day, and I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to our partners at UTRGV – Dr Guy Bailey, Veronica, Gonzales, Pharr Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez, City of Pharr officials, community leaders and everyone who played a vital role in bringing this vision to life.

This hub is more than just a facility. It is a milestone for our community. As I stand here today, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of pride in what we’ve accomplished together.

Pharr is a city strategically positioned at the crossroads of opportunity, with our international bridge serving as a gateway to the world. But this hub is about more than just strategy. It’s about creating a space where local and international businesses can find the support they need to thrive, right here in the City of Pharr.

The programs and services we’re offering at this innovative and first-of-its-kind facility, like the global soft-landing program, business advisement and workforce development initiatives are thoughtfully designed to meet the specific needs of our business community.

Our commitment at Pharr EDC is personal. We care deeply about the success of every entrepreneur, every small business owner and every company that walks through these doors.
