The truck company later used the company GPS to locate him, which led them to a Stripes off East of 196 in Raymondville, where they called the store and asked the clerk to check on him.

Police said at 8:30 a.m., the clerk found the man dead in the driver's seat of the rig. Authorities believe the man had been dead since Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest caused by underlying conditions. An autopsy has been ordered.

Police say he is from Laredo but have not released his identity.
