PD: Eastbound traffic on causeway delayed after crash

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Drivers headed to South Padre Island can expect delays this evening after an accident was reported on the Queen Isabella Causeway.

Port Isabel police confirmed a car accident took place on the causeway this evening.

Traffic is backed up going eastbound, according to the Texas Department of Transportation cameras.
