HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Four people were arrested after a search warrant led to the discovery of narcotics, authorities say.
Harlingen residents, 29-year-old Matthew Flores, 28-year-old Jose Luis Flores, 33-year-old Catherine Flores and 21-year-old Jason Ramos were arrested, according to a news release from the Harlingen Police Department.
At 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 14, authorities alongside DEA agents executed two search warrants on two residents. One search warrant was at the 200 block of E. Hurt Street and the other was at the 2800 block of N. 7th Street.
During the searches, authorities found seven pounds of cocaine, four pounds of marijuana, one THC vape pen, U.S. currency and firearms.
All suspects were charged with the following:
Matthew Flores:
- Manufacture delivery
- Engage in organized criminal activity
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of a controlled substance
Jose Luis Flores
- Manufacture delivery
- Engage in organized criminal activity
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of a controlled substance
Catherine Flores
- Manufacture delivery
- Engage in organized criminal activity
Jason Ramos
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of a controlled substance
Mathew Flores and Jose Luis Flores received total bonds of $215,000. Catherine Flores received a bond of $100,00 and Jason Ramos was issued a bond of $15,000.
