PD: 18-wheeler rolls over, traffic delays expected

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg police are on the scene of a major 18-wheeler rollover accident on the expressway.

According to the Edinburg Police Department, the accident occurred early Saturday afternoon, near the area of Monte Cristo and S I-69C.

Police say the 18-wheeler rolled over in the southbound lanes and all southbound traffic is routed to the exit on Monte Cristo Road.

Edinburg PD Lt. Gabriel Reyna Vela told ValleyCentreal, that no major injuries were reported.

Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes.
