PD: 1 shot in McAllen, juveniles detained

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — One person has been hospitalized after being shot in McAllen, police said.

At 1:59 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the 4200 block of W. Zinnia Avenue. Police said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was transported to a local hospital.

Juveniles at the scene were detained. The investigation remains ongoing.
