PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation is responding to an accident involving two semi-trucks at 10th and Monte Cristo in Edinburg.
First responders are at the scene assessing the damage and cleaning up a grease spill.
Edinburg officials say traffic is being re-routed for public safety. As of this morning, Monte Cristo Road is closed in between Pablo Street and 10th Street while first responders clean up the debris from the crash.
Ray Pedraza, public information officer for the Texas Department of Transportation, told ValleyCentral that one truck was hauling cooking oil grease.
No injuries have been reported.
