Palmview PD to host National Night Out, school supply giveaways

PALMVIEW, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Palmview Police Department invites the community to its annual National Night Out celebration on Aug. 14.

This year the department has again joined with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to provide a greater opportunity for residents to get to know their police department.

The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday inside the Palmview Municipal Park, located at 613 Palmview Commercial Drive.

There will be food vendors, games, a petting zoo, and school supplies including backpacks. The free school items will be available while supplies last.
