Pablos: I was happy to help the RioPlex marketing initiative

1 month ago 47

I am deeply honored to have been invited as the keynote speaker at the recent CEO Group event held at the Harlingen Convention Center. It was a pleasure to share insights and experiences from my binational work with the Borderplex Alliance, which has fostered regional economic development and cooperation among the cities of El Paso, Texas; Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua; and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Joaquin Spamer and the CEO Group are doing remarkable work by marketing the Rio Grande Valley and North Tamaulipas region under the RioPlex brand. Their commitment to binational regional unity and economic collaboration is inspiring and essential for our collective success as a globally competitive region.

The Borderplex Alliance’s model I helped create demonstrates the power of regional unity, and I am confident that the RioPlex initiative will achieve similar success. By working together and leveraging our shared strengths, we can create a prosperous future for all of South Texas.

Thank you to Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez, Harlingen Mayor Norma Sepulveda and the CEO Group for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation. Let’s continue to strive for unity and prosperity in our beloved South Texas binational region.

Editor’s Note: The above commentary was provided on social media by Rolando Pablos, the architect of the Borderplex Alliance in El Paso, Santa Teresa, and Ciudad Juarez.
