Nikki Rowe football player injured during weekend accident

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Nikki Rowe senior football player was injured during a weekend accident, a McAllen Independent School District spokesperson said.

Mark May with McAllen ISD identified the student as Adan De La Cruz. Cruz has been hospitalized for his injuries.

Nikki Rowe High School is providing counseling for students throughout the day for those who may need it, May added.

No added details on De La Cruz's condition have been released.
