New VA Outpatient Clinic opens in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — VA Texas Coastal Bend Health Care System held a ribbon cutting on Friday to welcome the opening of a new outpatient clinic.

The clinic aims to further improve and expand access and services to Veterans.

"This is our first brand new clinic in the South Texas area and we're delighted to open the doors to Veterans in the Brownsville and surrounding area and afford them greater access to VA healthcare," said VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Chief of Staff, Jennifer Wood.

They recommend Veterans visit the clinic and check their availability after new legislation expanded access for Veterans healthcare.
