New location for Hidalgo County Elections Department

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Effective Monday, Jan. 6, the Hidalgo County Elections Department will be moving to a new location.

The county's news release said the new location will be at 2015 W. Jackson Creek Ave. in Edinburg.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause Hidalgo County residents, but our hope is that this new location will ultimately be more accessible to those doing business with the elections department,” said Hidalgo County Elections Administrator Hilda A. Salinas.

Business will remain as usual at the current location at 213 S. Closner Blvd. until the end of today.
