Mission PD investigates death of toddler

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mission Police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy that occurred on Thursday.

Mission Police said at 1:59 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call about a drowning of a 3-year-old boy at the 3200 block of Joycee Drive.

When police and fire arrived CPR was performed on the child. He was transported to an area hospital, where minutes after arrival he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating this case.
