HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A migrant in U.S. Border Patrol custody was pronounced dead, the United States Customs and Border Protection announced.
According to a news release from CBP, shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, a migrant was pronounced dead due to cancer complications.

The migrant, who was in Border Patrol custody, died while in the care of a local hospital.
The CBP Office of Professional Responsibility is reviewing the incident.
