McAllen police search for man wanted for auto theft

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for auto theft.

At 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 18, authorities responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle from a parking area on the 300 block of South 2nd Street.

FBI arrests Edcouch city manager and city councilman

The suspect was identified as Moses Enoch Smith, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department. The McAllen Municipal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Smith.

He is described as a 36-year-old man, 5'10" tall, 300 lbs, bald and brown-colored eyes. Police say his last known address was in Harlingen.
