McAllen EDC pays its respects to Santos International

MCALLEN, Texas – McAllen Economic Development Corporation has paid its respects to Santos International, the customs brokerage and logistics company that recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary.

Ralph Garcia, a vice president of McAllen EDC, said Jimmy Santos, the founder of the company, was one of the original board members of MEDC when it formed in 1988.

In a posting on its social media sites, McAllen EDC pointed out that Santos International is a “family-owned business deeply rooted” in the federally licensed U.S. customs brokerage industries.

MEDC said: “Since its early inception, the Santos family has been at the forefront of delivering unparalleled customer-oriented services, establishing a legacy of excellence and innovation.

“Today, Santos International stands as a beacon of reliability and trust in the customs brokerage and logistics sectors. Over the past five decades, the company has forged strong relationships, offering seamless import and export solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Santos International celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a reception at McAllen Country Club on May 16, 2024. Dante Galeazzi, president and CEO of Texas International Produce Association was emcee.
