McAllen airport announces new non-stop flights to Cancun

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen International Airport is celebrating its newest partnership that will allow tourists to fly directly to Cancun.

Volaris Airlines, an airline based out of Mexico City, will soon be offering non-stop flights from McAllen to Cancun.

"We are so excited for you to take your next Above Beyond adventure with MFE," the McAllen International Airport announced.

Travel fares from McAllen to Cancun are as low as $49 for a round-trip flight on Wednesdays and Saturdays only, according to the Volaris website.

Travelers can now book their flight to McAllen's newest non-stop destination online.
