Maintenance work on I-2 rescheduled for April 29

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The preventative maintenance work on the Interstate 2 (I-2) frontage roads, between Stewart Road in San Juan and Val Verde Road in Donna has been moved to Monday and Tuesday, April 29-30, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the work will not impact the I-2 on and off-ramps within the project limits.

Drivers are asked to look for alternate routes to avoid intermittent lane closures on the frontage roads and intersectional delays.
