La Plaza Mall hosts Prom Fashion Show

McAllen, Texas (ValleyCentral) — It is prom season again, and students across the Rio Grande Valley are in search of the perfect outfit for their much anticipated night. 

La Plaza Mall in McAllen hosted a prom fashion show on Saturday so teens can have inspiration on what to wear for their prom.

Beautiful, colorful, sparkling gowns were showcased at the fashion show that left many in awe.

Show organizers said the mall retailers are ready to help students find their perfect prom outfits.

"These prom dresses there's so many styles it can be floral, it can have a slit, it can be a halter top or it can even have pearls, all depends on the girl" said Victoria Barrera, fashion show model. "With this fashion show, it allows every young individual to imagine themselves in a beautiful dress or a handsome tux."

Isabel Rodriguez, La Plaza Mall Director of Marketing, told ValleyCentral that the fashion show also helps parents start planning and know their options for retailers that fit their budgets.
