Junior League of Harlingen set for Casino Night

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Junior League of Harlingen is hosting a Casino Night fundraiser to support community impact programs, which are free to the community and focus on women and children.

The event, themed as a Roaring 20s will feature live music, hors d'oeuvres, and casino games. Tickets are $50 and are available through their Facebook page.

The league is also involved in a capital campaign to renovate the children's space at the Harlingen Public Library.

Additionally, they host an annual Kid Fit event promoting healthy living.

The league finds it rewarding to give back to the community through these efforts.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb. 1 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Homewood Suites at 603 Sesame Dr.

This is a 21-and-over event.
