Judge Cortez speaks at Santos International’s 50th Anniversary event

MCALLEN, Texas – Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez gave the keynote speech at a celebration of Santos International’s 50th Anniversary. The event was held at the McAllen Country Club on May 16, 2024. 

Santos International is involved in customs brokerage, warehousing, logistics, cold storage and the foreign trade zone. 

In his remarks, Judge Cortez praised Santos, particularly its founder, Jimmy Santos, whom he has known for many years. He also spoke about the county’s efforts to fight poverty.
