Holiday baking tips with Reach for the Sky BakeShop

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Gabriel and Nancy Herrera from Reach for the Sky BakeShop in San Benito shared a recipe for Carlota de Café, a Mexican version of Tiramisu.

The dessert features a cream cheese base with vanilla, cinnamon, and cold brew coffee, layered with Galletas Maria cookies.

It is described as easy to make, requiring only a hand mixer and a refrigerator for at least eight hours.

The bake shop will be open on Christmas Eve and offers unique holiday items like gingerbread, sugar cookies, and jumbo cinnamon rolls.
