Hidalgo County hosts annual turkey drive-thru giveaway

ALTON, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is inviting residents to its annual turkey drive-thru giveaway.

Hidalgo County will give out one turkey and one box of side dishes per vehicle in attendance.

Families can pick up their free turkey starting at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20. at Sylvia Vela Park, located on 510 S. Alton Blvd. in Alton.

All Hidalgo County residents are invited to attend.

The event will continue until supplies last.
