Harlingen PD: Accident shuts down part of Ed Carey Drive, Haine Drive, 23rd and 25th Streets

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A rollover crash on Ed Carey Drive and Clarke Street has shut down Haine Drive in Harlingen.

Harlingen Police report the accident has shut down south Ed Carey Drive between Haine, 23rd Street, and 25th Street to Loop 499.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) said they are assisting police with traffic control and have reported emergency responders are clearing the scene.

According to police, power lines are down, and are investigating if there are any fatalities. As of now, AEP Texas is reporting 79 customer outages.
